Hey. Man has it been awhile since I have uploaded something. Over a year and a half I think. Anyway here is one of my newer characters, done in my 3D animation class, Yuka the ghost girl.
Yuka died at the age of 12. For the past 100 years, she has been staying in her abandoned house. She is a very happy, and nice girl. most people can't see her, but she try's to make friends with people that do. Most of them just run away, but some played with her. She doesn't remember how she died, but it was a tragic, murder.
Anyway, I first made this character for a BESM (big eyes small mouth) campaign, and I liked her a lot, so I thought of a basic idea for a game. You play as Yuka and her friend Kaya (a 18 year old girl that can see her) and fight against an organization after Yuka's powers. As yuka, you use all the powers of a ghost, flight, telekinesis, possession, and illustions, to stay off foes, while Kaya fights hand to hand. You can make some sweet combos with these two, like having Kaya throw a pole in the air, which Yuka will grab. Kaya will then trip the foe while Yuka slams the pole into the gut.
Still working out the story and gameplay some more on this game, but I like it alot.
Anyway, I made this in my 3d Animation class, useing Cinema 4D. Took about 5 weeks, the head alone took 3, the kimono and body took 1, and animating it and last detals took 1. I am going to try to post the animation. There were a bunch of problems, like I could not get the Iris's to map onto the eye, no mater what I tried, so I stuck them on plains, and put them in frount of the eye. Yuka also doesn't show how happy of a person she is, because I couldn't get the mouth to look good in a huge grin, some a little smiles was all I could do.
I hope to get actual drawings of her, either by me, or commissioning someone.
Anyway, tell me what you think! Comments are very welcome!

sorry I didn't respond right away. been busy. I used Cinema 4D on a mac to do this. I wish I had more time to make it a bit smoother, but I am happy with what I was able to do. I go back to college at the end of september. Full Sail. Right now I am at Wellsrping acadamy in Californa, for weight loss. Also took that 3D animation class where I made this. Lost 46 pounds in 9 weeks. Only one more week left So, how are you doing?
I'm doing well enough, I've got a good job at the moment that loves to give away free stuff and pays well and I'll be working from home once all my training is done. Also me and my girlfriend are moving in together this monday and she'll be starting college the 18th of this month. I've decided sense it took so long to get a job that I'm going to wait to get my landmark debts paid before I start another college, give me time to decide what I want to do with my life other then make 3D art work.

DeviantART has partnered with FAIR to help promote equality through The Love Unites Shepard Fairey Equality Project. We're asking deviants to align themselves with this cause and have their work judged by Shepard Fairey himself!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
